Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Houston County Board of Education (HCBOE) currently has a total of 37 schools located throughout Houston County, Georgia. High school and middle schools to be cleaned in December 2013 all schools (approximately 40 hoods) cleaned in May 2014. Successful vendor will coordinate dates with SNP. All appliances/equipment located in the kitchen area shall be protected at all times. Any damage caused to HCBOE property due to negligence of the vendor, will be the responsibility of the vendor. All filters shall be removed and cleaned with an environmentally safe degreaser or chemical cleaner and put back into place. Exhaust stack and fan, complete hood, any grease ducts, grease trays, grease cups shall be cleaned with an environmentally safe degreaser or chemical cleaner. Outside of hood and stainless ovens shall be cleaned and polished. Vendor shall place new inspection sticker on each hood for State and Local Fire Marshalls inspection. Kitchen area shall be left clean with any residue removed and floors cleaned. Kitchens shall be left ready for operation to resume. Insurance certificate shall be sent to the buyer listed on page one of this Invitation to Bid prior to scheduled date of cleaning. Cleaning for all 37 schools will be scheduled with the successful vendor through the Director of School Nutritions office and will be inspected by the same. Cleaning shall be done two times per calendar year once per school during HCBOE Christmas break and once per school during HCBOE summer break. Bid price shall be per school and each vendor responding to this ITB shall include information on what will be cleaned and how it will be cleaned.
