Specifications include, but are not limited to: Design Requirements and Specifications: 1. Designer must provide creative and innovative design layout within the current newsletter layout structure tailoring each issue to reflect the season or theme. 2. Designer must provide page by page layout expertise and advice on how to arrange and present photography and written articles that AFPLS supply. 3. Designer must supplement photography that AFPLS provides with stock photography that he or she recommends for the cover and editorial images. 4. Design must be provided within 5 working days of receipt of all information from AFPLS. Printing Requirements and Specifications: 1. Designer must provide a full size, full color print ready proof for sign off by the library client prior to printing. Designer must provide a high-resolution, printable PDF for proofing and then must be able to provide both a PDF and/or In Design files to their selected printer, as specified by the printer. 2. Designer must coordinate the delivery of the completed newsletters to the Central Library by each specified date per issue. 3. Designer must work with a printer within a 60-mile radius from the Central Library in the event that the library client requests a press check. 4. Printing must be complete within 10 working days of receiving written approval from AFPLS.
