Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Term of the agreement is for one (1) year from date of award with four (4) options for renewal. 2. Ice Rink Management and Concession Services season will change annually, with base timeline parameters from the Saturday before Thanksgiving (November 23, 2019) through the Sunday after New Year’s (January 5, 2020). These dates will adjust year to year and will require an annual addendum to come to an agreement between the Authority and the vendor on those dates 3. Ice Rink Management and Concession Services for 2019 may be located in the following locations: Great Lawn North (adjacent to the Garden Pavilion North and East) or West Lawn (directly across from the College Football Hall of Fame). Permanent located to be determined upon further evaluation. 4. Park will provide shore power to the chiller of the Ice Rink Management and Concession Services, but the vendor is required to service and maintain the chiller, including any necessary start-up requirements. 5. Move-in for the rink is estimated to take up to (10) days prior to the opening day of the rink. 6. Move-out for the rink is estimated to take up to (5) days after the last day of the rink. 7. Ice Rink Management and Concession Services concessionaire will provide: a. Flooring system under the ice b. Dasher walls c. Rink personnel d. Chiller e. Professional Ice re-surface f. “Skate hut” to include areas for ice skates, audio equipment, skate sharpening, sundries. g. Ice skates h. Skate sharpening both for the concession and for the public (for a fee) i. Lockers j. On-ice skate monitor during agreed upon peak, open times k. Children’s/beginner “skate buddy” l. Skating Lessons m. Helmet rental n. Set up and installation of all concession equipment o. Supply all equipment for set-up and tear down of Ice Rink Management and Concession Services p. Assist in marketing of rink q. Expenses for the tent, tent floor (If selected, must be approved by the Authority)
