1. Removal and Disposal - Safely remove and dispose of four existing overhead garage doors, guides, springs, and related hardware. - Remove any obsolete weather stripping or trim associated with the old doors. 2. Supply and Installation - Provide and install four (4) new commercial-grade overhead garage doors for Fire Station #8. - Door material - Will decide at the pre-bid meeting. - Color - Match the existing doors as closely as possible. Sample colors shall be submitted to Fire Rescue for approval. - Size - The current doors at station #8 are 14’6” wide by 12’10” tall. - Windows - To be determined at the pre-bid meeting. - Install a complete door system with guides/tracks to include counterbalance system, operators, and control stations. - The contractor will be responsible for all fasteners. - Install all new safety components, to ensure safe operation for each door. - R-Value Insulation - To be determined at the pre-bid meeting. - Install all new weather stripping for all sides and bottom threshold of each door. - Ensure proper adjustment, balance, and smooth operation of each door. - Hall County is responsible for mounting surfaces unless otherwise specified. 3. Cleanup and Inspection - Remove all debris and job-related waste from the site upon completion of the project. - Provide a final walkthrough and inspection upon completion, with a Hall County representative. 4. Timeline - Provide an estimated start time. - Provide an estimated completion time. 5. Cost - Provide an itemized cost of the project. 6. Warranty - Manufacturer’s Warranty. - Workmanship Warranty.
