Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Sandy Springs, Georgia (“City” or “Sandy Springs”), is soliciting proposals for the services of a consulting firm to develop and deliver an Environmental Sustainability Action Plan (“ESA Plan” or “Project”). The City engaged with a graduate studio at Georgia Tech in winter 2021 to prepare a Sustainability Assessment (“Assessment”) that inventories current initiatives and benchmarks them against selected cities. The ESA Plan will build upon the Assessment to establish a sustainability vision and priorities, as well as an action plan including milestones and performance measures. Located in Fulton County, Sandy Springs is metro Atlanta’s second-largest city. The City has approximately 108,000 residents, with the population more than doubling during the business day due to the heavy concentration of businesses located in Sandy Springs.
