Purpose The purpose of the Powder Springs Dallas Railroad Crossing Elimination Project is to enhance public safety, reduce traffic congestion, improve emergency response times, and support economic development by eliminating one or more at-grade railroad crossings within the City of Powder Springs and surrounding areas.
