Specifications include, but are not limited to: replacing the concrete apron, wingwalls, and parapet along with constructing a large drop structure on the downstream end of the triple box culvert that goes under Dorris Road behind the Douglas County Courthouse. Also included is replacing approximately 73 linear feet (LF) of 12” ductile iron pipe (DIP) sewer main with 43 LF of 20” PVC sewer main and 57 LF of 20” DIP sewer main with concrete encasement and replacing approximately 45 LF of 18” reinforced concrete pipe (RCP) and its headwall with approximately 63 LF of 18” RCP. Installation of two sanitary manhole structures, concrete curb and gutter, road pavement, handrails, two catch basin structures with tops, and concrete sidewalk along with road restoration, landscaping, grading, and erosion control associated with the installation of these items is also included. In addition, the project includes sealing joints between culvert barrel sections with portland cement repair mortar from within all culvert barrels. The work will be installed in the City of Douglasville and the neighboring areas adjacent to Dorris Road as required and shown on the plans and specifications for the Dorris Road Stormwater Improvement Project
