Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Gwinnett County Department of Information Technology is soliciting informal proposals from qualified consultantsto secure services capable of developing specifications for a formal bid or request for proposal cellular modems andvehicle mount antenna equipment. The services will also include assistance in evaluating the responses obtained from theformal solicitation.The consultant selected to provide the development of written specifications for cellular modems and vehicle mountantenna equipment shall be prohibited from being awarded or participating in any manner with the purchase andinstallation of cellular modems and vehicle mount antenna equipment for projects that result from the development ofthese specifications. Firms that are interested in potentially responding to a future bid to supply ruggedized or semiruggedized modems, antennas, or installation services should not respond to this proposal. By responding to thisproposal, any potential future bid by the proposing firms to supply ruggedized or semi ruggedized cellular modems,antennas, and installation services will result in the firms bid being disqualified and considered a conflict of interest.
