Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Georgia Department of Transportation (“GDOT”), an agency of the State of Georgia (the “State”), is soliciting Statements of Qualifications (“SOQs”) for a qualified Design-Build Team, to provide Design-Build services to design, construct, and install broadband, a reliable intelligent transportation system (“ITS”) communication network and connected vehicle (“CV”) infrastructure along I-75 from the Florida state line to SR 92 in Marietta, I-475 near Macon from the southern limit of I-75 south of Macon to the northern limit with I-75, and I-575 near Marietta to SR 372 in multiple counties, Georgia; The broadband infrastructure will include fiber optic cable installed in conduit on the shoulder of the interstate for the entire limits of the Project. The CV infrastructure includes the deployment of Connected Vehicle Roadside Units (RSU), Closed Circuit Television Cameras (CCTV), and other ITS devices, as may be applicable.
