The work consists of the equipment, supervision, and all other services required for the complete demolition of the structures identified and described in the Asbestos Inspection Reports. All improvements must be completely demolished and removed from their present site. All demolition debris must be removed and disposed of properly in an appropriate landfill or recycled in accordance with the provisions of the Georgia Comprehensive Solid Waste Management Act of 1990 and the Georgia Rules for Solid Waste Management Chapter 391-3-4. The work will be completed in strict accordance with the Technical Specifications. The Georgia Environmental Protection Division (EPD) Project Notification Forms are required to be submitted by the Contractor immediately once the Notice of Award is received. Work shall commence as soon as possible following issuance of the Notice to Proceed. All work must be completed thirty (30) days following the Notice to Proceed unless modified in writing by GDOT with a purchase change order. The EPD Notification filing is included in the thirty (30) day period. The work shall be completed as noted in the Demolition requirements within the Asbestos Inspection Report.
