Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. Database space for back up and disaster recovery. The Department plans to install hardware to back up its field office data sets to a cloud repository. The hardware will be installed at the CoreSite AT2 repository, which is located at 1130 Powers Ferry Place, Marietta, GA 30067. In addition to backup capabilities the solution will have a disaster recovery component for replication of a subset of the stored data. FDOT will manage the backup and disaster recover via its existing Veeam environment, and the vendor will provide two racks and necessary power. This contact is planned for a period of five years. The Department currently has two dedicated data lines (MFN2) connected from the Department’s network to the Coresite data center in Marietta, GA. Use of the Marietta data center will provide the department with an offsite repository for data backup and disaster recovery following a significant weather event. The use of the Coresite facility will preclude the secondary cost and time to run additional MFN2 data lines to another facility.
