Specifications include, but are not limited to: Providing all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, other items and services as necessary for the Leesburg School Connectivity Study by September 18, 2019. The Dougherty Area Regional Transportation Study (DARTS) is seeking the services of a consultant to conduct a study for The City of Leesburg that will examine traffic operations, analyze the relocation of the SR 32 corridor in the Downtown area to connect with US 19 and to remove the turning movements now required to connect to US 19. This study would also require investigating the two railroad crossings that would be involved, analysis of seventeen congested intersections near the ten schools in the City of Leesburg, existing pedestrian facilities, propose additional facilities to support land use activities within the study area for pedestrian safety, and vehicle travel improvement, with completion by September 18, 2019.
