Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Freedom Park Campus project will consist of all site work and vertical construction for the entire campus including a new Forsyth County Administration Building, Employee Center, and Whole Health building. The site design is based on a Park-like theme, and to promote healthy living via walking path around the entire campus, hiking trails and a pedestrian bridge. The Site fronts Georgia highway 400 and includes improvements in the GDOT right of way. The Whole Health Building is funded by County and Coronavirus State Fiscal Recovery Funds, subject to federal requirements which must be incurred prior to December 31, 2024. Contractors must meet all federal requirements as stipulated in the Grant terms and conditions included in the Contract Documents including full expenditure of Grant funds. The Administration Building, Employee Center and entirety of site work will be funded exclusively by Forsyth County. The Administration Building is designed to be approximately 134,568 square feet and will includes 14 departments and all key corporate functions, all customer service functions, and Board of Commissioners public meetings center. The customer service center design intent is to provide a “One-Stop-Shop” for permits, licensing and general business with Forsyth County. The new Employee Center is approximately 30,526 square feet and is designed to attract and retain talented professionals for long term employment with the county and will include a Wellness Center, Employee Lounge, Pet Daycare, Fitness Center and commercial retail shellspace. The Whole Health building is approximately 71,440 square feet and will include behavioral health services and the Department of Public Health. The behavioral health services business unit will be managed by Avita Community Partners and provide inpatient and outpatient services for adults and youth.
