Specifications include, but are not limited to: Contractor shall construct a new fire station located on 4.1 acres of property located at 3130 Ga Hwy 138 Conyers, GA 30013. The building shall be approximately 8,400 sq. Ft. It shall consist of slab on grade, PEMB structural building, standing seam roof, CMU walls, and brick veneer. The layout will include an apparatus bay, bunkrooms, kitchen, weight room, and office space. A general description follows with complete plans and specifications included in this bid. 1. Plans and Specifications a. See attached construction drawings and project manual for detailed plansand specifications. b. Contractor is expected to follow industry best management practices and to bridge any minor omissions or discrepancies in plans and specifications. c. Contractor will submit schedule of values and construction schedule within two weeks of notice to proceed (NTP)is issued. d. Contractor shall submit all submittals to architect with copy to owner. e. All Colors will be determined by owner from standard finishes unless noted in drawings. f. All finishes to be per plans with colors and patterns selected by owner. g. Door locks to consist of Schlage standard cores. 2. Pre‐engineered Metal Building a. Contractor shall construct a pre‐engineered metal building per specifications and details in plans. b. Contractor shall provide temporary fencing as needed for security of construction materials when stored onsite. 3. Appliances a. Contractor shall include allowance of $40,000 for appliances. b. Contractor shall include installation and utilities as needed. c. Appliances to include gas stove, range hood, refrigerator, stand up freezer, dishwasher, icemaker, gear dryer, washing machine, and dryer. 4. Furniture a. Contractor shall include an allowance of $40,000 for furniture which includes kitchen tables and chairs, bunk room beds and wardrobe lockers, recliners, stools, office desks, chairs, and TV. Owner to select and provide to contractor to furnish and install within the allowance given. 5. Apparatus Bay a. Contractor shall supply and install 24 gear lockers as shown on plans. b. Gear lockers shall be GearGrid or equivalent. 6. Low Voltage /Data a. Contractor shall supply conduit and pull string as per drawings. b. Contractor shall coordinate with owner during electrical rough in forproper locations. c. Owner will supply and provide installation of all data jacks. d. Access Control will be provided by Owner.
