Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this eRFP is to enter into a contract with one qualified supplier who will fulfill State and Federal Community Development Block Grant Mitigation ("CDBG-MIT") statutory responsibilities related to broadband planning in connection with federally declared disasters. Given the disaster-prone nature of these geographies, a more thorough assessment of network resiliency is needed in order to understand the ways in which communications infrastructure can support public safety, disaster response, recovery, and mitigation of future disasters. This analysis will result in a detailed planning guide on the regional and county-by-county level to guide future decision-making and resource allotment. Overall, the goal of the proposed planning study aims to mitigate the effects of future disasters by ensuring timely response through robust communications infrastructure and effective public safety networks.
