The following coverages, deductibles, and conditions are currently provided and it is the intent of the School District to maintain these coverages. Workers Compensation Coverage Coverage applies to accidents or diseases under a state workers compensation or occupational disease law for medical treatment and indemnity for disability to employees who suffer work related injury. Lost wages and lump sum benefits may be paid in addition to medical expenses. Limits of Liability Benefits as set by Georgia state statute and Georgia State Board of Workers’ Compensation rules Deductible $ 0 Employers Liability Coverage Coverage against tort or other liability for damages as opposed to the statutory liability for workers compensation benefits under state law. Coverage applies to bodily injury by accident, as well as by disease, and includes resulting death.
