Specifications include, but are not limited to: The college and career readiness tool will be used in all Fulton County middle and high schools to ensure all students are exposed to self-exploration and guided planning in the development of an individualized, post-secondary transition plan. The tool will be web based and interface with our student information system (SIS) to ensure all students will have created accounts upon enrollment in FCS and that profiles will transfer within FCS from school to school. The students will use the tool independently and with guidance primarily from their school counselors and will use the tool in individualized and classroom settings. The students will begin use of the tool in middle school where the primary focus will be completing Georgia’s Building Resourceful Individuals to Develop Georgia’s Economy (BRIDGE) Law metrics (state mandated career exploration activities) and developing an individualized graduation plan that will define their plan of study for their four years of high school. The readiness tool will also be used as a platform to monitor social emotional learning (SEL) development and progress in students, as SEL development is a critical component in college and career readiness. In grades 9-12 the tool will be used for college and career readiness support activities (such as BRIDGE Law), communication between the school and students/parents, financial aid education and scholarship application and tracking, the college application process and admissions tracking, and SEL development. The tool will also be used by the district and local schools to track students’ enrollment in college and college persistence data to determine if the students are achieving success on their chosen post-secondary path. The requested solution shall consist of the following: • Software Requirements o Web based software • Technical Requirements o Internet connectivity through the district’s firewall and other network security services o All items listed in Appendix V • Training Requirements o The Offeror shall provide a detailed training and implementation plan for using the college and career readiness tool in all FCS middle and high schools o Training school counselors, administrators and teachers o Train the trainer model for school counselors to teach the use of the tool to students and parents • College and Career Readiness Capability Requirements, including, but not limited to: o Tracking post-secondary enrollment and retention o Engaging and connecting with college admission personnel o Alignment and completion of BRIDGE Bill requirements o Digitalization of college applications o Financial Aid Literacy and scholarship database o Research based Gallup alignment with career paths and toolset for College Fit/Match o Caseload management tools for counselors and communication capabilities o Data dashboards to evaluate college and career readiness that are accessible to counselors, administration and district staff o Individualized graduation planning tools, including course planning and selection o Social Emotional Learning for grades 6-12
