Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City of Rome is looking to establish a contract with a towing company that can provide dependable and high-quality towing services in a timely manner to all vehicles owned by the City of Rome. • Police Department vehicles will be towed to 200 Vaughn Road, Rome, GA 30161. • Water Department vehicles will be towed to 100 Vaughn Road, Rome, GA 30161. • Transit Department vehicles will be towed to 168 North Avenue, Rome, GA 30161. • Fire Department vehicles will be towed to 168 North Avenue, Rome, GA 30161. • All other vehicles will be towed to 200 Vaughn Road, Rome, GA 30161. • The City of Rome reserves the right to give a 30-day notice for termination of the contract at any point within the contracted year if quality, performance, or budgetary necessity dictates such termination. • Pricing is on a per tow basis. • There will be no minimum or maximum number of tows per year. • The awarded vendor must have $2,000,000.00 in liability insurance and workers compensation as required by the State of Georgia. • The contractor must supply a Certificate of Insurance with the City of Rome shown as the additionally insured.
