Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1.Grading Complete to Include: a.Site layout to include marking sidewalk path for City approval. Site preparation for sidewalk to include excavation and removal or import of material within construction site. Includes the saw-cutting and removal of up to 340 square yards of existing pavement. b.Saw cut and remove portions of two speed humps to accommodate new edge of pavement and drainage gutter. c.Undercut excavation necessary to achieve appropriate compaction. d.Reset and/or Replace all mailboxes affected by construction in kind. 2.Site preparation for existing driveways to include excavation and removal or import of material for their replacement as specified by the Engineer. 3.The per unit pay item for the sidewalk shall include the installation of handicap ramps. 4.Traffic control shall be performed in accordance with City & MUTCD standards including the removal and reset of traffic signage. 5.Installation & maintenance of erosion control devices to include daily covering of any disturbed areas with straw mulch as well permanent grassing up to ¼ acre, in addition to sod placement. 6.The Contractor shall irrigate newly installed landscaping a minimum of six times, as directed by Engineer.
