Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Consolidated Government of Columbus, Georgia (the City) requires the delivery of Carbon Dioxide in liquid bulk at a minimum of five hundred (500) pounds per tank per delivery, for an estimated annual usage of 45,000 pounds. A. Contracted vendor shall deliver the following Carbon Dioxide Liquid Product: Carbon Dioxide ANC Liquid Microbulk. Material Safety Data Sheets required. B. The carbon dioxide liquid will be used to fill two indoor large carbon dioxide cylinders at the Columbus Aquatic Center (indoor pool) year-round, and, four (4) additional cylinders for outdoor pools during summer months. C. Contracted vendor shall provide the annual lease of the tanks. D. Carbon dioxide liquid shall be ordered on an “as needed” basis. E. Delivery of Carbon Dioxide Liquid will be required in bulk at a minimum of five hundred (500) pounds per delivery, for an estimated annual usage of 45,000 pounds. F. Contracted vendor shall be available for emergency deliveries, if needed. Emergency deliveries shall be defined as deliveries made with 5 or fewer days of liquid carbon dioxide on hand. Emergency deliveries should be made by the vendor within 2 days of notification of the emergency need. G. Deliveries may be scheduled for Monday through Friday during normal operating hours and on Saturday before 3:00 pm. Deliveries shall be made within five (5) days after receipt of order, unless there is an emergency (see item F). No delivery will be made on Thanksgiving or Christmas Day. H. All shipping, delivery, and/or freight charges must be included in the Unit Cost. Columbus Consolidated Government will pay no additional shipping, delivery, and/or freight charges. I. All deliveries must be signed for by an approved member of the aquatics division staff.
