1. Commercial grade, high-efficiency, Energy Star Rated washing machines and Commercial, super-capacity dryers to be installed on campus. 2. All machines shall be maintained and in service seven days a week, 24 hours a day. 3. Initial delivery of machines shall be new machines. Machines shall be clean and maintained throughout the duration of the contract. If more than one machine is in a location, the machines shall match and be of the same modular design. 4. Each location shall be ADA-approved and ADA accessible. 5. Ownership of all laundry machines will remain with the supplier. 6. The awarded supplier shall provide an online monitoring solution at no additional cost to allow users to determine machine availability from a computer, tablet, or smartphone. The monitoring system shall have the functionality to send a text and email notification to the student when the laundry cycle is complete. 7. The awarded supplier shall not install, remove, or relocate equipment without prior written approval from the Director of Housing and Residence Life or their designee. 8. Columbus State University will provide the proper utilities (electricity and water supply) for connecting equipment to the utilities. The Supplier will be responsible for inspecting facilities and identifying available utility connections for the placement of machines. Any additional costs to install or adapt machines to connect to existing utility connections will be the responsibility of the awarded supplier. 9. Columbus State University will not be responsible for any power outages. 10.The awarded supplier shall provide a toll-free number and a monitored email address for the university to report mechanical failures or problems with equipment.
