The consultant will serve in a leadership capacity, overseeing all functions of the University’s Financial Aid Office. Services will be provided in a hybrid capacity, with both on-site and remote work as appropriate to ensure seamless operations and effective communication with university stakeholders. Key Functional Areas 1. Operational Oversight and Process Improvement a. Direct and supervise financial aid office operations to ensure efficient, compliant, and studentcentered service delivery. b. Assess existing workflows, policies, and procedures to identify opportunities for greater accuracy, timeliness, and process efficiency. c. Implement best practices to streamline operations and reduce processing delays. 2. Program Administration and Compliance a. Manage and oversee the administration of federal, state, and institutional financial aid programs, ensuring full regulatory compliance. b. Maintain adherence to all applicable U.S. Department of Education, state, and institutional policies. c. Support preparation for audits and ensure data accuracy in financial aid records. 3. Student and Family Counseling a. Provide direct counseling and guidance to students and families regarding financial aid eligibility, application procedures, and financial planning options. b.
