II. Scope of Work – Mechanical Demolition 1. The demolition work required shall include, but not limited to, the following items A. Removal of chillers CH-1 and CH-2 (existing York chillers) and primary and secondary chilled water pumps. B. Disconnect chilled water supply and return water piping at the existing valves at the chillers and pumps to the piping connections. C. Removal of existing control wiring to BAS interfaced equipment such as the control valves, current transducers for status of pumps and chillers operation. D. Refer to the mechanical drawings and specifications on the drawings for detailed demolition work required. III. Scope of Work - Electrical Demolition 1. The demolition work required shall include, but not limited to, the following items. Carefully coordinate with the mechanical scope to include any items not specifically noted herein as part of the scope of work. A. Chillers and Chilled Water Pumps Replacement: Provide labor required to disconnect existing power circuiting to the existing chillers and pumps. The intent is to disconnect the power at this equipment and associated components such as any controlled devices such as powered valves, relays, sensors, etc., to be relocated in the chilled water piping system. B. Refer to the electrical drawings and specifications on the drawings for detailed demolition work required. IV. Scope of Work - New Electrical Work 1. The new work required shall include, but not limited to the following items. Carefully coordinate with the mechanical systems scope to provide all code required electrical connections which includes conduit, wiring, disconnects, etc., refer the to the New Work requirements indicated on the electrical drawings and specifications. A. New Chillers and Pumps: Provide labor and materials to install conduit and wiring to new cooling tower components, supports, circuit labeling including updating the panel directories as required for the new chillers and pumps. B. Potential temporary wiring for powering temporary rental chillers that may be necessary to be installed depending upon delivery of the new chillers by the mechanical contractor during the removal and replacement of the existing/new chillers for the ability to keep the cooling system active shall be provided. This work is anticipated to be conducted for as much as a 4-week period so a temporary cooling equipment may be required to keep the Campus cooling system operational.
