Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. Painting • Supplier will apply new paint to all visible exterior surfaces that are not black, as well as inside doorframes. It is not necessary to repaint the underneath surface of the hoods. • The rendering attached to the bid represents an approximation of the desired paint color and provides an indication of how the painted trucks will appear with the wrapped trailers. The color of the black paint used for the trucks will be Mazda A2A black gloss. Awarded vendor will provide a sample of the actual paint color for approval prior to start of work. • Supplier must use DuPont Imron or comparable paint. B. Cost Sheet • Provide all associated costs for each trailer on the Excel spreadsheet titled Cost Sheet for CTDL Truck Painting. C. Prep Work • Suppliers must inspect the trucks during the site visit associated with the Mandatory Prebid Meeting. To ensure the quality of the new paint application, supplier must remove any old graphics and any existing defects must be corrected or replaced prior to painting. These costs should be included in the quote. D. Site Work • Work will be scheduled to minimize disruption to student training schedule. E. Completion Time • The total job must be completed within eight (8) weeks of the official start date which will be determined by the College after the bid is awarded.
