3.1 Overview- FCS is seeking quotes to rebuild select bus engines on an as needed basis per Caterpillar guidelines. FCS estimates between 5-10 engine overhauls per year. Awarded contractor shall provide all labor, materials, equipment, and services necessary to complete this work as specified within this quote. FCS will be responsible for delivery and pickup of bus. 3.2 Description of Parts & Services Vendor shall provide all the parts, labor, and warranty as detailed below for rebuilding FCS caterpillar bus engines. Parts - Caterpillar Platinum In-Frame Overhaul Kit a. Reman Cylinder Block & Piston Packs b. Reman Cylinder Head c. Reman Injectors & HEUI Pump d. Reman Oil Pump e. Reman Water Pump f. Basic in frame seals, studs, gaskets, oil cooler, turbo, oil, and coolant. g. Any other basic shop supplies needed to complete a turnkey overhaul
