Specifications include, but are not limited to: • Consultant will work collaboratively with ABI’s Economic Development team and the BLMP Master Operator to execute this project during the entire BLMP cycle. • Consultant will spearhead the planning, execution, and all-around logistics of the activation schedule to support the BeltLine Marketplace program. This spring, activities would be able to commence, including the Second Saturday’s event at up to four (4) BLMP locations. • Consultant will be charged with equitably implementing the programming, also considering the needs and desires of the individual communities adjacent to the BLMP locations. • A key goal of the Second Saturday’s event will be to leverage the current BLMP locations to bring together some of Atlanta’s top independent artists, brands, crafters, and makers and further bolster the commercial affordability outcomes that ABI is seeking to create in the city of Atlanta. The selected consultant shall: 1. Serve as Lead Consultant for all Special Events and Activations at the BeltLine Marketplace locations a. The Consultant will work closely with ABI and the BLMP Master Operator to create an activation calendar for the four BeltLine Marketplace sites, considering other community events and partnerships near the BLMP locations throughout the entire second cycle of the program (through December 31, 2025). b. The Consultant will create detailed event plans and timelines to execute the events, bringing in additional subcontractors as needed. c. The Consultant will oversee all aspects of the event management process including but not limited to any needed permits, supplies, equipment, staffing, volunteers, etc. d. The Consultant will work closely with the BLMP Operator to ensure all BLMP businesses are engaged and trained to maximize all the special events and activation opportunities in order to further grow their businesses. e. The Consultant will collect data and identify trends related to the event programming to help to improve and grow the activations throughout the cycle ensuring optimal outcomes. f. The Consultant will collaborate with ABI and the BLMP Operator on marketing and communications efforts to support the event, especially place-based marketing strategies. 2. Execute the Monthly Second Saturdays Event a. The Consultant shall solicit, vet, and manage additional monthly market participants and entrepreneurs and: • Consultant will have additional strategies to support the growth and development of the participants as they engage with the Second Saturday opportunity. • Collect data and metrics about the progress of the participants, working with ABI and the Master Operator to enter it into our Salesforce system. • Work closely with ABI and the BLMP operator to curate the markets to complement the existing BLMP businesses including potential theme ideas for each month. b. The Consultant shall serve as the lead project manager and be responsible for all aspects of event management. c. The Consultant shall purchase and store equipment, materials, and supplies. d. The Consultant shall manage the contact database and communications to the monthly market participants. e. The Consultant shall provide on-site staffing & entertainment management (DJ, Artists, Musician, etc.) for each event. f. The Consultant will serve as on-site host of the monthly market and work collaboratively with ABI and the BLMP Operator to map out the event layout to ensure steady traffic flow, increase awareness, and brand the areas as shopping destinations. g. The Consultant will collaborate on marketing and communications efforts to support the event. h. It is anticipated that there will be up to fifteen (15) total events over the course of the BLMP cycle through December 31, 2025.
