Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this solicitation is to establish an Open Agency Services Contract to provide armed security services for the Lanier Technical College's (from here on out, named the College) satellite campuses. The services provided shall be in accordance with the provisions of the Georgia Procurement Manual, the Agency Contract for Services, Special Terms and Conditions, and all attached documents with this Sourcing event. The Security Officers on duty must be certified Law Enforcement Officers who are sworn with a Sheriff's office or City Government and have the authority to make an arrest and authorized to carry a weapon and wear a badge while on duty. The security employee must be trained in the use of weapons and licensed to carry firearms when on duty. This Armed Guard will respond to calls for services such as: intrusion alarms, fires, traffic control, disturbances, and crowd control. All Security Guards are to be in uniform with an identifying badge. Officers must have a sidearm and wear their full county/city law enforcement uniform.
