Specifications include, but are not limited to: The purpose of this RFP is for an Automatic External Defibrillator (AED) contract. Which will include purchasing, servicing, maintaining and certifying the devices for the University’s four campuses located in Statesboro, Savannah and Hinesville, Georgia. It will be the responsibility of the awarded supplier to provide the University with new AED units when needed, keep a record of all test and certification reports for the life of the contract(s), turn over all documentation at the end of the contract(s), keep a record of and deliver accessories a month prior to expiration or as needed, handle all warranty and non-warranty issues with devices and/or accessories as well as test and certify the devices annually. Currently, we have approximately 385 units on the Statesboro campus, approximately 40 devices on the Armstrong campus, approximately 3 devices at the Herty AMDC campus, and approximately 2 devices at the Liberty campus. At this time, the devices are a mixture of Zoll, Philips, Cardiac Science and Defibtech. The new GS campus standard is Zoll.
