Specifications include, but are not limited to: 1. Install and expand existing door access control system. a. Utilize existing door hardware and devices when available to minimize costs. b. The system shall meet all building and fire codes adopted by the City of College Park. 2. The Contractor shall recognize and perform with all stated intents, specifications, and stipulations contained or referenced herein. 3. The Contractor shall be responsible for researching the existing conditions and matters that may affect the cost or performance of the installation services. 4. The Contractor shall have a working knowledge of projects of this nature. 5. The Contractor shall be NIST. 800-171 compliant. 6. The Contractor shall have (current) certification with Genetec and shall provide a copy of the certification. 7. The Contractor will be required to visit the sites and become familiar with existing conditions. 8. Failure to examine any and all documents will in no way relieve the Contractor of the necessity of furnishing any materials or equipment, or performing any work that may be required to complete the project in accordance with the RFP. Neglect of above requirements will not be accepted as reason for delay in work or additional compensation. 9. It shall be clearly demonstrated in the proposal that the successful Contractor has sufficient, qualified, and experienced staff to adequately perform all installation outlined in the RFP. 10. All supervision, labor, materials, and equipment necessary to complete the construction shall be furnished by the consultant. 11. All equipment shall be safe, proper, efficient, and suited to and for the job. 12. All sites must remain operational during installation.
