Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Bibb County School District is seeking information for a solution that provides Internet Services and Wide Area Network connectivity between all BCSD locations (approximately 43). This proposal must also include a Disaster Recovery Colocation Data Center and its connectivity. This solution will connect all sites to the Network Operations Center and offer services ranging from 1 Gb/s to 100 Gb/s. The provider must be Erate approved. The Bibb County School District may request a demonstration of the proposed solution. A list of locations with current service connections is included as Attachment A. Specific Requirements: Wide Area Network • Provide WAN networking for all BCSD locations with varying levels of bandwidth allocation. • Solution must provide options for 1 Gb/s to 100 Gb/s at Schools / Remote sites. • Solution must provide 10 Gb/s to 100 Gb/s services between BCSD Data Center and Disaster Recovery Colocation Data Center. • Proposal must include all necessary equipment, services and licenses to connect and maintain all sites for a complete installation in detail. • Solution must provide Ethernet WAN for all locations and the necessary hardware to terminate at each location. • Solution must provide routing capability, support and equipment for current and future routing protocols. • Bandwidth on demand may be listed as an option. • Any network topology can be proposed and may be considered as long as it is in the best interest of the school district. All solutions must meet current industry standards and allow for growth of future demands. • Solution must provide a dashboard for monitoring the services at all locations and access to real time statistical data of throughput and bandwidth. • Solution must include an alternate off-site location that allows for fail over redundancy of critical services / systems. • Provide uptime of 99.999% or greater. Solution should provide a minimum of 10 Gb/s (Up & Down) resilient connection to the Internet. • Solution should include a secondary ingress/egress point option at the determined Disaster Recovery Colocation Data Center for resilient internet connectivity. • Solution must include access to real time and historical statistical data of internet usage.
