The work to be performed includes the replacement of water laterals under the roadway, milling, resurfacing, and striping on the following streets within the City of Metter, Georgia. Specifically, this project includes the following: 2025 LRA ROADWAY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT: • Pine Street: 3,900 SY of resurfacing from South Register Street to South Kennedy Street for 1,760 LF. Work includes raising manholes and water valves, milling as required for inlay paving joints, replacement of water service laterals from the main to the meter, and restriping. Videoing of existing sanitary sewer main for 880 LF, with the potential addition of sanitary sewer pipe bursting with lateral reconnection for 880 LF. 2026 LMIG ROADWAY IMPROVEMENT PROJECT: • Daniel Street: 4,350 SY of resurfacing from Cedar St to North Lewis Street for 1,660 LF. Work includes raising manholes and water valves, milling as required for inlay paving joints, replacement of water service laterals from the main to the meter, and restriping. Videoing of existing sanitary sewer main for 1,005 LF, with the potential addition of sanitary sewer pipe bursting with lateral reconnection for 1,005 LF. • High Street: 2,860 SY of resurfacing from Central AVE to Lilian ST for 830 LF. Work includes installation of new 6” Water Main for 1,215 LF, replacement of water service laterals from the main to the meter, installation of 134 LF of 8” sanitary sewer main and manhole, raising manholes and water valves, milling as required for inlay paving joints, and restriping. Videoing of existing sanitary sewer main for 600 LF, with the potential addition of sanitary sewer pipe bursting with lateral reconnection for 600 LF.
