Polk County is seeking a qualified engineering firm to provide surveying, concept plans, preliminary plans, permitting, final plans, right of way plans, specifications, cost estimates, bid documents, and construction administration & inspection necessary for the replacement of an existing bridge located on Government Farm Road in Polk County Georgia. This existing structure is approximately 40’ in length, having a single 13’ wide travel lane with 8” concrete curbs and guardrails. It is being replaced due to its age, weight restrictions, and single lane capacity. Euharlee Creek crosses beneath this bridge at a significant skew. The County is not aware of any flooding events during which the creek has overtopped the bridge.
