Description

Dawson County Board of Commissioners is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) to invite proposals from qualified, licensed vendors with demonstrated competence and experience to provide all labor and materials required to remove and dispose of scrap tires from the Dawson County Transfer station, located at 946 Burt Creek Road, Dawsonville, GA 30534.
The selected Contractor must be a valid GA EPD approved carrier authorized to transport scrap tires. The Contractor must also be permitted by the GA EPD to process, sort, or retread tires, as applicable.

The offerors shall package and seal its submittal so that they will not be damaged in mailing. One (1) original of the complete signed submittal must be received, november 20, 2025 at 10:30AM, Eastern Standard Time. Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope stating on the outside, the vendor's name, address, IFB #488-25 ANNUAL TIRE DISPOSAL AND RECYCLING SERVICES and delivered to:

Hand delivered copies may be brought to the above address between the hours of 8:00AM and 5:00PM EST, Monday through Friday, excluding Holidays. If a sealed bid is delivered after 10:25 a.m., on the day of the opening, deliver the package to the Purchasing Manager, in the Finance Conference Room, Suite #2322. No submission will be accepted after 10:30 a.m., on the date listed above, at which time all company names and offers received will be publically read aloud.
