Walton County Public Works was notified by the U.S. Coast Guard of a damaged navigational aid at Hogtown Bayou (Day Beacon #5) that needs immediate repair. The full details of the work planned for this project is identified below:

The general project activities will include the removal and disposal of the existing timber piled structure and installation of a new timber pile structure with appropriate day marker signage. Contractor must provide: treated wooden pile; (2) Type 304 W' stainless steel through bolts w/ flat & lock washers; nylon shoulder washers and nuts; plastic pile cap; 1"x 4" cross members; stainless steel lag bolts, lock washers and screws; and any other material as shown on the

Waterway Marker Detail Sheet for Private Aids to Navigation (attached). Day Beacon signs to be provided by County.
