SPC 01-21-22 - SPC Downtown Parking Operation

St. Petersburg College (“SPC” or the “College”), located in Pinellas County, Florida, and established in 1927, is one of the oldest colleges in the 28-institution Florida College System (“FCS”). SPC is governed by a five-member Board of Trustees appointed to four-year terms by the Governor of Florida. St. Petersburg College offers more than 100 academic programs, career training, and university transfer options at eleven locations throughout Pinellas County and online.
The Downtown Campus owns and manages two parking facilities -one parking garage (Downtown Garage – 173 spaces) and two surface parking lots (Palladium Lots – 116 spaces). These parking facilities are primarily designated for students, faculty, and staff at no cost. There is no intent to charge these users for parking. With increased parking demand in Downtown St. Petersburg, the College would like to offer after-hour parking to the public. The College is seeking a Parking Operator to manage the day to the day operations of both parking facilities, as well as manage the after-hour parking to the public.
