Please note: This is a Sole Source Notification. Hillsborough County intends to recommend the award of a noncompetitive procurement to Trane U.S., Inc., in the estimated amount of $14,050,473.60, for ongoing and as-needed maintenance and repair services for the County’s existing Trane Building Automation Systems located at various facilities throughout the county for a five (5) year period. This procurement is being made in accordance with Section 3-208(15) of the County’s Procurement Policy as Trane U.S., Inc., is the only reasonable source as the only authorized vendor in the State of Florida that can provide the required proprietary maintenance, parts, warranty services, and other services specifically authorized for Trane Building Automation Systems. Currently, the Trane Building Automation Systems are installed in five (5) critical County facilities; therefore, the subject services are required to ensure the proprietary equipment is properly maintained and kept operating.
