Specifications include, but are not limited to: A. This project consists of converting the homes and businesses in District A from septic tanks to county utility sanitary sewer service. B. District A's total area is approximately 233 acres and District A will be split into 2 (two) phases with this project being Phase One (1), in which, there would be approximately 520 septic tanks from homes and businesses converted to sanitary sewer service. C. The Vendor/Contractor will provide all labor and materials to prevent environmental damage to the ground, water and air in conformance with all local, state and federal laws. D. It will be the Vendor/Contractor’s responsibility to provide an acceptable MOT plan at the PreConstruction meeting along with a chart showing the project schedule. E. The Vendor/Contractor shall comply with all applicable OSHA workplace safety requirements and shall accomplish the work in a manner providing for the safety of their equipment and workers and for the safety of the general public. F. There are 2 "Alternate" sewersheds (No.2 and No.5) listed in the Pricing Proposal as Part 5 and Part 6. The communities serviced by these sewersheds may or may not be included with Phase 1 of this project, but they still must be bid in the event that they are included.
