Specifications include, but are not limited to: This project will connect an existing flood attenuation facility with an existing borrow pit, on County-owned property located within the nearly 21-acre urbanized Roosevelt Creek watershed. Work will include creating additional wetland treatment areas adjacent to the borrow pit to improve flood protection, water quality, and enhance the existing natural ecological systems. Work consists of the excavation of approximately 96,300 cubic yards of material, and 16,400 cubic yards of excess excavation fill. Additional work includes hydro-seeding and installation of biodegradable erosion control blanket, and modification of existing stormwater infrastructure including installation of weirs, pipes, structures, fencing and related appurtenances.
