This scope of work will be to remove all site improvements except the Controls Building, asphalt driveway around the perimeter, and the stormwater system. This site was once used as a wastewater treatment plant for the area and has large concrete structures that will need to be removed, along with the lift stations and associated piping for the wastewater treatment system. There is an existing 4" sewer pipe that runs along the north side of the driveway that will need to remain in place for future sewer connection from the Control Building. Also, all stormwater piping shall remain in-place and shall be protected during demolition. The County's Solid Waste Department will be receiving all the concrete removed from the site but the contractor must remove all reinforcement from the concrete. The County's Road Department will be transporting the concrete to Solid Waste for recycling. Additionally, the County Road Department will be providing all necessary fill material to backfill the areas where the concrete structures are removed. This project will also include construction of a 80x100 concrete slab to be installed approximately 20' west of the existing Controls Building, with a concrete sidewalk connecting to the Controls Building.
