Specifications include, but are not limited to: TWO PUMP CONTROL PANEL: 460 volt 3 phase a. Control panel drawings shall be approved by the City of Titusville before manufacturing of the panel. Finished panel shall be UL listed. b. The controller shall respond to liquid level float switches to automatically start and stop the pumps as well as sound an alarm and energize an alarm light upon high wet well levels. c. The control panel shall be standard system of the manufacturer as modified for this application. d. The control panel shall consist of a main circuit breaker, a motor circuit breaker, and magnetic starter for each pump motor, and 15 ampere, 120-volt circuit breakers as required. e. All pump control operations shall be accomplished by a float-type, liquid level control system (four floats) with all control components mounted in one common enclosure. f. Control switches shall provide means to operate each pump manually or automatically. When operated in the automatic mode, the control assembly shall provide means to manually select or automatically alternate the position of the “lead” and “lag” pumps after each pumping cycle. g. A float type liquid level control system shall continuously monitor wet well liquid level and control operation of the low-level cutoff for the pumps and shall operate off a 24-volt circuit. h. The electrical control equipment shall be mounted within a NEMA type 3R enclosure constructed of 14 gauge Type 304 stainless steel. i. Enclosure dimensions are 36 inches wide x 48 inches high x 16 inches deep. A twelve (12) inch foot stand using 12 gauge Type 304 stainless steel to be welded to bottom of enclosure. j. Panels to have sun shields mounted front, sides, top, and back. Sun shields to be not less than 14 gauge 304 stainless steel and secured one inch off of enclosure surfaces. k. The enclosure shall be equipped with an aluminum dead front door and shall incorporate a removable back panel on which control components shall be mounted. l. Back panel shall be secured to enclosure with collar studs. m. Enclosure shall be equipped with a stainless steel drip lip and 3-point latch. n. All motor circuit breakers, motor starters and control relays shall be of highest industrial quality, and securely fastened to the removable back panels with screws and washers.
