Specifications include, but are not limited to: The City seeks consultant(s) who have extensive experience, skills, and a vision to develop a comprehensive, detailed Public Art Master Plan. A demonstrated track record with arts engagement, public and performing arts planning, art project management and business planning, and community engagement is required. Expertise in urban design, art/cultural studies, or landscape architecture is desired. Although not required, previous experience in similar projects and with a municipal government agency is preferable. The selected proposer shall complete execution of the items below and as described further throughout this RFP. The Public Art Master Plan is anticipated to provide strategic direction for the Public Art Advisory Board and the City Council and the expansion of public art and its impact on the City¡¦s cultural and visual landscape. The Plan is anticipated to be a strategic document with policy, financing strategies, and program development recommendations. Consultants will be asked to develop recommendations related to public art and engage the community in the Plan¡¦s development.
