The project consists of the construction of the Zone N Vacuum Collection System for Brevard County, Florida. The project will be composed of a vacuum pump station to be located on the parcel at 1475 South Harbor Drive, Merritt Island, FL 32952 and a vacuum collection piping network through the service are comprised of the following residential streets: Bayside Street, Wavecrest Street, Harbor Drive, and Shore Drive. Vacuum collection chambers will be installed within the County’s right-of-way as shown on the contract drawings to collect wastewater from laterals installed to each property line. Wastewater collected in each collection chamber will be sent via vacuum to the vacuum pump station. This project additionally includes the relocation of the existing Lift Station F-02 located near the proposed vacuum pump station parcel on South Harbor Drive. All influent pipelines currently feeding Lift Station F-02 will be extended to a new lift station and will be combined with the collected flows from the vacuum pump station. From the new lift station, wastewater will be pumped via force main to an existing force main located on North Banana River Drive. Upon final system testing and approval, roadways impacted by this project will be restored. The service area currently provides low pressure sewer service to select parcels. The low-pressure service is to remain in uninterrupted service for up to one year following the startup of the vacuum system. At that time, the low-pressure system will be abandoned in place by others. The project additionally includes all other incidentals including demolition necessary to complete the work in accordance with the Contract Documents. ZONE T The work consists of the construction of the Zone T Vacuum Collection System for Brevard County, Florida. The Project will be composed of a vacuum pump station to be located on the parcel at 2156 Newfound Harbor Drive, Merritt Island, FL 32952 and a vacuum collection piping network as shown on the Contract Drawings.
