Specifications include, but are not limited to: The Department is seeking in-person, site-specific basic and advanced locksmith training for correctional officers from the Florida Department of Corrections. Basic locksmith training will include guidelines for key control, procurement, installation, and maintenance of all locking systems for correctional staff. Advanced locksmith training will include advanced training for key control, procurement, installation, and maintenance of all correctional staff. Maximum Detention Systems, LLC will provide an in-person individualized training program in a safe and suitable training environment onsite at selected cluster locations within the State of Florida. Maximum Detention Systems, LLC will work with the Bureau of Professional Development and Training staff to coordinate at least two (2) Basic Locksmith classes and two (2) Advanced Locksmith classes for each of the Department's four (4) Regions. Maximum Detention Systems, LLC is the single provider available for the required in-person locksmith basic and advanced training techniques outlined in Restricted Procedure 602.039, which is mandatory to maintain accreditation standards. Maximum Detention Systems, LLC has over 45 years of experience in the correctional field and, over time, has tailored its basic and advanced locksmith training classes to fit the specific needs of correctional facilities in the State of Florida. Maximum Detention Systems, LLC has extensive knowledge of locks, keys, and key control within the Department of Corrections. Maximum Detention Systems, LLC does not make available any of its product(s) and/or training or professional/implementation services to any third party or partner for the purpose of resale or maintenance. As a result of the exclusive training ability of Maximum Detention Systems, LLC, the Department is unable to obtain training services from another company.
