This ITB requests the purchase and delivery of approximately 8,050 tons of lime rock road material. All materials must meet Florida Department of Transportation (DOT) specifications. Materials must be sourced from the Perry quarries. Lime rock materials shall not contain lumps of aggregate of such nature or in sufficient quantity to prevent owner from obtaining a smooth work surface free from pits and pockets. Lime rock shall be free of trash and foreign matter and should come from pits free of exotic plant species. Deliveries must be completed Monday - Friday from 8:00am - 4:30pm, Eastern Time (excluding state holidays or other closures). The materials must be delivered and stockpiled on Bear Creek (see Appendix I Map). The delivery of all items are as follows: • 6,500 tons of lime rock road base, delivered ‘dump while rolling’, beginning on Bear Creek at HWY 65 (see APPENDIX I - attached map) • 1,550 tons of surge select lime rock (2”- 5” diameter) delivered to the Bear Creek stockpile site identified in (see APPENDIX I - attached map)
