Develop and implement a Public Awareness Strategy • Outline a communications plan to ensure transparency and engagement. • Identify key audiences and stakeholder groups. • Prepare press releases, social media content, and outreach materials. 2. Facilitate Community Engagement Activities • Organize and facilitate a series of public meetings, open houses, workshops, and/or town halls. • Employ innovative outreach techniques to ensure broad participation, especially from underrepresented populations. • Use surveys, interactive tools, or digital platforms for feedback. 3. Document and Report Engagement Results • Maintain detailed records of public input and engagement activities. • Provide regular, easy-to-understand summary reports to City staff and stakeholders. • Maintain a transparent, accessible public record of the engagement process. 4. Develop a Community Priorities Report • Synthesize all community input into a report that identifies recurring themes and priorities. • Rank and categorize community needs and wishes to guide the development of future projects. • Present final findings to the Palmer City Council and/or other designated groups.
