This scope of work is for consultative services to perform the following: 1) an analysis of the emerging business priorities of the State of Florida Juvenile Justice Information System (JJIS) that will reside in the cloud, and 2) make recommendations for the technical architecture, database architecture, software architecture and tools required to meet the business need. A comprehensive review of the Juvenile Justice Information System (JJIS) will be central to this requirement. JJIS is a system that collects data on a juvenile from the time they enter the DJJ system until they leave the custody of DJJ. JJIS provides statewide access to juvenile information to DJJ employees, DJJ outsourced services program staff, law enforcement staff, courts staff and the Department of Children and Families (DCF) abuse investigators. JJIS also supports electronic medical records. JJIS provides data for evaluating juvenile trends and programs and reports that are used to manage the effectiveness and efficiency of the Department’s processes and procedures. Contractor will provide these services to the Florida Department of Juvenile Justice.
