A. Summary: The City of Homestead is seeking services for the Fiscal Year End Inventory Counting for Procurement & Contract Services Department. The services include conducting an accurate count of approximately 2,600 items, including electrical, water, safety, and janitorial items. The count will be supervised by a fully trained Crew Manager to ensure accuracy and adherence to the process. The awarded vendor will be responsible for providing a crew of counters and manager per day for approximately 5 days. The count will take place from (Tentative Dates) Wednesday, September 24, 2025 to Tuesday, September 30, 2025 between 8am to 5pm, with a one-hour lunch break. The vendor will need to provide their own refreshments and PPE supplies. The scope of work also includes process variance reports, wrap up recounts if necessary, and final reconciliation. B. Detailed Specifications: o The count will be conducted manually using the count forms and hardware provided by the City. o The Crew Manager must be fully trained in inventory counting procedures and have experience in supervising inventory counts. o The count will include indoor and outdoor items, such as electrical, water, safety, and janitorial items. o All counts must be conducted accurately and with attention to detail. o The vendor should have experience in conducting similar inventory counts. o Any variances found during the count must be reported in the process variance reports. o If necessary, wrap up recounts should be conducted to ensure accuracy and resolve any discrepancies. o The final reconciliation should be performed to ensure all items have been counted and recorded accurately.
