The camera system must include all components required to operate it as a standalone device including camera, lens, optics, camera control, tripod, data acquisition and post-processing software, etc. Spectral Range: Must cover the mid-infrared region, typically between 1.5 to 5 μm or extended depending on the application. High spatial resolution, minimum 320 x 256 pixels, or higher for detailed imaging. Frame Rate: Capable of capturing high-speed events with a minimum frame rate of 3,000 frames per second (fps) at full resolution. Adjustable frame rates depending on resolution, with potential for 100,000 fps at reduced resolutions, maintaining a minimum window size of 64x4 pixels. Detector Type: Indium Antimonide (InSb) or Mercury Cadmium Telluride (MCT) detectors for high sensitivity in the mid-IR range. Option for cooled detectors to enhance sensitivity and reduce thermal noise. Detector pitch should be 15–30 μm to balance sensitivity and resolution for mid-IR detection. The aperture should be at least f/2.5 or wider to enhance low-light performance and improve the signal-tonoise ratio. Thermal Sensitivity: A low Noise Equivalent Temperature Difference (NETD) for high thermal sensitivity, preferably ≤ 25 mK to capture minute thermal variations. Integration Time: Adjustable integration times down to microseconds to capture fast transient thermal events in combustion processes. Temperature Calibration: Must support custom radiometric calibration for accurate temperature measurements across 0°C–2500°C. Data Interface: High-speed data transfer interface, such as GigE, CameraLink, or USB3, to ensure real-time data capture without bottlenecks. Triggering and Synchronization: Must include flexible triggering options (hardware/software triggers) and synchronization with external voltage signals. Software Compatibility: Should come with advanced software for controlling the camera, adjusting settings, and performing image and video analysis. The system should be durable enough with appropriate shock resistance and temperature control for operation in combustion facilities. On-site installation and on-site training should be provided. At least 24 months warranty must be included.
