Specifications include, but are not limited to: I. Computer Image Installation, Testing, and Certification The computer images will be built, tested and certified by the Trust’s Information Technology staff prior to being implemented in production. The installation of the image and respective updates to image components and drivers shall be performed by the selected vendor. The Trust will provide the image to the vendor in a format and method acceptable to the Vendor’s process. The vendor will provide a certification prototype for the Trust to test and certify prior to order fulfillment. Recommended changes to the image shall be fully documented, and must be thoroughly tested by the vendor prior to submission to the Trust for final testing and certification. II. Depot Installation Due to storage space and time constraints a depot method of delivery and installation will be required. The following list is provided for consideration: 1. Vendor supplied universally necessary operating system (OS) and system application maintenance of the computing devices, typically referred to as Managed Systems are not included in the RFQ. 2. Selected Vendor will provide any Microsoft software maintenance that is normally performed on all computing devices in a managed network environment including, patch maintenance, driver maintenance, bios maintenance, antivirus, antivirus updates, and systems applications updates. Such updates shall be current as of the time of imaging the computer. The Trust will be the licensee for Microsoft Licenses. 3. Systems Applications include Internet Explorer (or other Trust-approved browser), Java, Flash, etc., and are a part of the installed image that the Trust will provide for installation. The Trust will be the licensee for software licenses on the image. 4. Inventory maintenance will be maintained in the Trust’s Easy Vista system. This database is used to track the service and location of devices. This includes all software installed on the computing device. The vendor will supply an electronic inventory file in .csv format that may be imported into the Trust’s system. 5. Any endpoint device(s) or product(s) shipped to, or otherwise delivered to the Trust shall include a comma separated values (.csv) data set of the make, model, serial numbers, descriptions, etc. being shipped. It is highly preferred that this be an automated file transmission. 6. The selected vendor shall collaborate with the Trust to produce and provide integration with Easy Vista for passing of inventory data into the inventory database. 7. On-site post installation production activities involving inventory will be the responsibility of the Trust and are not included in the scope of this RFQ.
