Specifications include, but are not limited to: The proposed project shall generally consist of the geophysical and video logging of the City’s Upper Floridan aquifer (UFA) supply wells and deep observation wells and the video logging of the City’s intermediate aquifer observation wells. The North Reverse Osmosis (NRO) Water Treatment Plant (WTP) is supplied by one UFA wellfield and the Southwest Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) Water Treatment Plant (WTP) is supplied by two separate UFA wellfields. The Contractor shall be responsible for all labor, personal protective gear, materials, transportation, tools, supplies, equipment, and appurtenances necessary to perform the work as specified herein. In general, all methods and materials used shall be in accordance with the latest revisions of the American Water Works Association (AWWA) Standards for Deep Wells (AWWA A100-06) as they apply to the particular needs or conditions encountered in the proposed work. The general scope of work includes, but is not limited to the following: *NRO WTP and SWRO WTP Wellfield Supply Wells: --Removing the wellhead and permanent pump from select wellfield supply wells. --Performing geophysical and video logging on the supply wells. --Reinstalling the permanent well pumps in the supply wells. --Reinstalling the wellhead. --Disinfection of the supply wells. --Conducting a bacteriological clearance of each of the supply wells. --Site restoration. *NRO WTP and SWRO WTP Observation Wells: --Removing the wellhead from select observation wells. --Performing geophysical and video logging on the observation wells. --Reinstalling the wellhead. --Site restoration. *NRO WTP and SWRO WTP Intermediate Aquifer Observation Wells: --Removing the wellhead from select intermediate aquifer observation wells. --Performing video logging on the intermediate aquifer observation wells. --Reinstalling the wellhead. --Site/well location surveying. --Site restoration.
